It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Beryl Rains, who left us peacefully on the 10th of June 2025 in the LRI after a short illness, at the age of 94.
Dearest wife of Douglas Roy, much loved mum of Paul and loving mother-in-law of Jill. Grandma to Matthew, Hannah and Sophie and great grandma to Jesse and Poppy.
Beryl's funeral will take place at 11 am on Friday 4th July 2025 at South Leicestershire Memorial Park and Crematorium, Foston Road, Countesthorpe, Leicestershire, LE8 5QP.
Family flowers only please.
If you wish to donate in Beryl's memory to Cancer Research UK, donations can be placed in the donation box at the crematorium on the day.
